Acreage allotments and farm marketing quotas for farms in a county or local area must be available for anyone to see under rules set by the Secretary, and an extra copy must be kept at the county extension agent’s office or with the local committee chair. Farmers must be mailed notice of their marketing quota. When practicable, the farm operator shown by county records to be entitled to an acreage allotment must be mailed notice in time to arrive before the referendum.
