Sets the meanings of important words used in the chapter. Agricultural product is fresh fruits and vegetables or foods from livestock or poultry sold in the United States for people to eat. Certificate is the accreditation document issued under this chapter. Laboratory is any place or vehicle, public or private, that tests agricultural products for pesticide residues for business purposes. Pesticide is whatever is defined in section 136(u) of this title. Secretary refers to the Secretary of Agriculture.
