Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 6A— - NATIONAL LABORATORY ACCREDITATION › § 138d
To get accredited, a laboratory must send the Secretary an application that gives the lab’s name and address, the owners’ and managers’ names and addresses, the kinds of analyses it will do, a short history, and any other information the Secretary asks for. A lab denied or stripped of accreditation must wait at least 6 months to reapply and must include the steps taken to fix the problems that caused the denial or loss.
