Summary

(a)The Secretary shall—
(1)carry out market news activities to provide timely price and shipment information of specialty crops in the United States; and
(2)use funds made available under subsection (b) to increase the reporting levels for specialty crops in effect on the date of enactment of this Act.
(b)In addition to any other funds made available through annual appropriations for market news services, there is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $9,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 through 2023, to remain available until expended.

L. 110–246 enacted identical sections. Pub. L. 110–234 was repealed by section 4(a) of Pub. L. 110–246. Section was enacted as part of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, and not as part of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 which comprises this chapter.
