Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 12— - ASSOCIATIONS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS PRODUCERS › § 291
Allows farmers, planters, ranchers, dairymen, and nut or fruit growers to join together in groups or corporations, with or without stock, to process, prepare, handle, and sell their products across state lines and abroad. They can share marketing agencies and make contracts to do this. The group must work for the members’ benefit and must either give each member only one vote or limit dividends on stock or membership capital to no more than 8 percent per year, and in any case it cannot sell nonmember products worth more than the value it handles for its members.
