Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 75— - INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE OF PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS › § 4401
Lets U.S. businesses have the special equipment used to ship perishable food examined, tested, and certified to meet an international agreement the United States helped create. That agreement says such equipment must meet set standards through inspection and testing, and this law lets those checks happen in the United States so shipping of perishable food is safer, U.S. trade is protected and can grow, and U.S.-made equipment sells better abroad.
