Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 2— - COTTON STANDARDS › § 60
Makes certain dishonest, violent, and interfering acts a crime. If someone knowingly breaks sections 52 or 59, or if a person licensed under this law knowingly mislabels cotton, forges or fakes a classification certificate, or takes money to neglect or do their job poorly, they can be punished. It also covers anyone who knowingly tries to improperly influence a licensed person, or anyone who assaults, resists, blocks, interferes with, or tries to improperly influence an employee under this law. On conviction, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor and can be fined up to $1,000, jailed up to six months, or both, at the court’s choice.
