Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 92— - SOYBEAN PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND CONSUMER INFORMATION › § 6301
Creates a national program, paid for by fees on soybeans grown in the United States, to promote soybeans, fund research, and give information to consumers and the industry. Congress found that soybeans are an important food and animal feed, that the soybean industry is a big part of the U.S. economy, and that keeping and growing markets at home and abroad helps farmers, processors, and the public. The program’s goal is to keep soybean products available and affordable and to find new uses and markets. The program must not control how much any farmer grows or stop anyone from producing soybeans.
