Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 106— - COMMODITY PROGRAMS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER VI— - ADMINISTRATION › § 7992
Many long‑standing farm price‑support rules are suspended for a set time. The suspension means those rules do not apply to the 2002 through 2007 crops of covered commodities, peanuts, and sugar, and do not apply to milk from May 13, 2002 through December 31, 2007. For the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938, the suspension covers Parts II–V of Subtitle B of Title III, section 377 for upland cotton, Subtitle D of Title III, and Title IV. For the Agricultural Act of 1949, it suspends several listed sections and Titles III, V, and VI, and most of Title IV except sections 404, 412, and 416 (those three still apply). A 1941 joint resolution about corn and wheat marketing quotas is also suspended for wheat planted for harvest in the calendar years 2002 through 2007.
