Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 3— - GRAIN STANDARDS › § 85
The Secretary can refuse to renew, suspend, or cancel a license for reasons like incompetence, using the wrong standards to inspect or weigh grain, issuing false official papers, careless or improper inspections or weighing, taking money for bad performance, letting the license be misused, or breaking the chapter’s rules or instructions. Before taking those actions, the licensee must be given a chance for a hearing. The Secretary can temporarily suspend a license without a hearing if needed to protect the inspection system. The Secretary can immediately revoke a license if the holder is convicted of an offense under section 87b of this title or of an offense in title 18 related to duties under this chapter.
