Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 32— - PEANUT STATISTICS › § 956
The Secretary can make rules needed to run this chapter. The Secretary may work with federal, state, local governments, agencies, or other people. The Secretary may hire, fire, and set pay for officers and employees, as long as that does not break other laws. The Secretary may spend money for things needed to administer the chapter — for example, rent outside Washington, printing, phones, law books, office furniture and supplies, travel, and reporting services — in the District of Columbia and elsewhere. Congress may provide the funds, and money from the Treasury not already set aside can be appropriated as needed.
