The Attorney General must make a yearly report from the Service’s records about people who have applied for U.S. citizenship. The report must show applicants by nationality, compare them to the numbers of aliens arriving each year and to the foreign‑born census totals, and give economic, job, and other statistics with analysis. Equipment costs for making the report must be paid from the Service’s appropriation for enforcing this chapter.
