Title 9 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 13
When someone asks the court to confirm, change, or fix an arbitration award and files for a judgment with the court clerk, they must also file the arbitration agreement; any selection or appointment of an extra arbitrator or umpire; any written extensions of time to make the award; the award itself; and all notices, affidavits, or other papers used in that request, plus any court orders about it. The court will enter and record the judgment just like a judgment in a regular lawsuit. That judgment has the same power, follows the same rules, and can be enforced in the same way as a judgment from a lawsuit in that court.
