Title 9 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 16
You may appeal certain court orders about arbitration. Appeals are allowed for orders that refuse to pause a case under section 3; deny a request under section 4 to have arbitration proceed; deny a request under section 206 to force arbitration; approve or refuse to approve an award (or part of one); change, correct, or cancel an award; interim (not final) orders that grant, continue, or change an injunction against arbitration; and final decisions about an arbitration. But, unless section 1292(b) of title 28 says otherwise, you may not appeal interim orders that grant a stay under section 3, order arbitration to proceed under section 4, force arbitration under section 206, or refuse to stop an arbitration.
