Board Advises on Energy Worker Claims
The Advisory Board will review and advise the Secretary of Labor on the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA), including Site Exposure Matrices, medical guidance for claims examiners, evidentiary requirements for Part B lung disease claims, and the claims adjudication process. The Board’s work (the Board sunsets on December 19, 2029) is intended to help protect energy workers and improve compensation programs.
