New Grants for Lower Mississippi Delta
The National Park Service is starting an application process for Lower Mississippi Delta Initiative (LMDI) grants authorized under Pub. L. 103-433, title XI. Eligible applicants explicitly include qualified Tribal, State, and local governments, non‑governmental organizations, and individuals, and the grants aim to preserve regional culture and history and conserve historic and archeological sites in the delta region.
