FY2025 per-acre rental fees required
Hydropower licensees must follow an updated schedule of per-acre rental fees for use of Government lands for fiscal year 2025, covering October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. The final rule is effective February 12, 2025 and requires licensees to use the FY2025 fees listed in appendix A to part 11.

The rule publishes the full FY2025 per-acre rental rate for each county (or other geographic area) in appendix A to part 11 so licensees can find the applicable fee for their location; for example, the appendix lists San Francisco County at $528.28/acre/yr, Denver County at $1,156.40/acre/yr, and Suffolk County (MA) at $5,893.59/acre/yr.
