Arbitrators must file FMCS Form R-19
If you serve as an arbitrator on the FMCS Roster, you must file the Arbitrator's Report and Fee Statement (FMCS Form R-19) after each decision rendered. The form asks for the award date, file number, company and union, issues, briefs/transcripts, any waivers, and the fees and days for the arbitrator; FMCS estimates about 2,000 responses per year and that the form takes about 5 minutes to complete.
FMCS will publish fee and workload data
FMCS will use the information collected on Form R-19 to publish data in its annual report, including median arbitrator fees and days spent on each case, to inform the public about arbitration services and national trends.
