Jonathan Corbett Cosie is debarred for 10 years from importing or offering for import any drug into the United States, effective March 13, 2025. The debarment follows his July 30, 2024 conviction for two felony counts for introducing misbranded drugs into interstate commerce.

Prohibition on importing with his assistance

Under section 301(cc) of the FD&C Act, importing or offering for import any drug into the United States by, with the assistance of, or at the direction of Mr. Cosie is a prohibited act effective March 13, 2025. Businesses or persons that would rely on Mr. Cosie to import drugs cannot lawfully do so while the debarment is in effect.

How to apply to end debarment and privacy rules

Mr. Cosie may apply at any time to terminate his debarment under section 306(d)(1). Electronic applications submitted to https://www.regulations.gov (including attachments) will be posted to the public docket unchanged; to submit confidential information, he must file a written/paper application with two copies (one marked confidential and one redacted) following the FDA instructions.
