Annual Detroit waterway safety zones

If you are on the water in the Captain of the Port Detroit zone, you may not enter designated safety zones immediately prior to, during, and immediately after annual marine events unless you obtain permission from the Captain of the Port Detroit or a designated representative. These safety zones will be enforced to protect life and property on the navigable waters during those event periods.
