The CDC is giving about $4 million to the Task Force for Global Health to help detect and fight flu and other respiratory viruses from September 30, 2026, to September 29, 2027. This funding supports teamwork between the CDC, health ministries, and partners worldwide to keep people safer from seasonal and pandemic flu. Future funding for years 2-5 will depend on how things go.
