Eight‑Year Export Ban for Named Individual

Damian Alejandro Vidal is denied export privileges for eight years from his conviction on May 16, 2024, and may not participate in any transaction involving U.S. export‑controlled items from the date of this Order until May 16, 2032. This includes applying for or using licenses, negotiating or carrying out sales, transport, financing, servicing, or otherwise benefiting from such export transactions.

Revocation of BIS Licenses Held by Vidal

Any Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) licenses or authorizations in which Vidal had an interest at the time of his conviction are revoked. He also cannot obtain new BIS licenses or license exceptions while the denial is in effect.

Prohibition on Others Doing Export Business with Vidal

From the date of this Order until May 16, 2032, no person may export, reexport, transfer, finance, facilitate acquisition by, acquire from, obtain from, or service U.S. export‑controlled items for or on behalf of Vidal. This blocks third parties from legally moving or supporting U.S. export‑controlled items connected to him.

Affiliates May Be Subjected To Order

Any person, firm, corporation, or business organization related to Vidal by ownership, control, position, affiliation, or other connection in trade may also be made subject to this Order to prevent evasion of the denial.

Right to Appeal Within 45 Days

Vidal may file an appeal of this Order with the Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security. The appeal must be filed within 45 days from the date of this Order and must comply with Part 756 of the Export Administration Regulations.
