HUD extended the compliance date for the National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) for Community Planning and Development programs. If you work with the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), Continuum of Care (CoC), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), or Housing Trust Fund (HTF) programs, the deadline to meet NSPIRE standards is now October 1, 2026, giving recipients and grantees more time to implement the standards.
