President Approves Ambler Road Project

On October 6, 2025 the President approved Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority’s (AIDEA) appeal under section 1106(a) of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA) and approved AIDEA’s 2016 revised consolidated application for the Ambler Road Project. The President directed each federal agency concerned to promptly issue the authorizations necessary to establish the Ambler Road Project, and noted that the Statement of Reasons addresses how those authorizations must be issued.
