Updated flood maps change insurance use
FEMA revised Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and, where applicable, Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report sections using Letters of Map Revision (LOMR). The current effective community number shown in the table must be used for all new flood insurance policies and renewals, and the changes listed for each community will be finalized on the dates in the table below.
You have 90 days to ask for reconsideration
From the date of the second local newspaper notice, any person has 90 days to ask the community to request that FEMA reconsider the flood hazard changes. The flood hazard determination information may be changed during that 90-day period.
Maps and studies available online and locally
Revised flood hazard information for each listed community is available to inspect online at the FEMA Map Service Center (https://msc.fema.gov) and at the community map repository addresses listed in the table. The current effective FIRM and FIS reports are also accessible online for comparison.
