FEMA will continue collecting program and administrative information from 28 Urban Search and Rescue Sponsoring Agencies to support Readiness and Response Cooperative Agreement awards. The collection uses specific FEMA forms (narrative statements, semi‑annual performance reports, amendment requests, and vehicle purchase justifications) and covers an estimated 98 respondents, 154 responses, 308 total annual burden hours, and $20,048 in estimated total annual respondent cost; the federal cost is estimated at $141,873. The public may submit comments on this extension by March 2, 2026.

The FIRM and FIS report are the basis of the floodplain management measures that the community is required either to adopt or to show evidence of having in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
