Mandatory Four‑Year Chemical Reporting
If your company manufactures (including imports) or processes chemical substances in the United States in industries under NAICS 325 or 324, you are required to respond to the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) collection once every four years under TSCA section 8(a) (15 U.S.C. 2607) and 40 CFR part 711. The next CDR collection will occur in 2028 and the information collection is currently approved through October 31, 2026.

EPA is specifically requesting comments from very small businesses (those that employ less than 25 employees) on examples of specific additional efforts EPA could make to reduce the paperwork burden for very small businesses; comments are due by April 27, 2026.
