One-Year Annual License Issued
The City of Hamilton, Ohio and American Municipal Power, Inc. were issued an annual license for the Greenup Hydroelectric Project (Project No. 2614) effective March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027, or until a new license or other disposition is issued. This authorizes the current licensees to operate the project under the terms and conditions of the prior license during that period.
Automatic Renewal if No New License
If a new license or other disposition is not issued on or before February 28, 2027, the annual license for Project No. 2614 will automatically renew without further order or notice under 18 CFR 16.18(c). This automatic renewal continues the annual licensing status beyond February 28, 2027 unless the Commission orders otherwise.
Continuation Under Prior License if Section 15 Not Applicable
If the Greenup Project is not subject to section 15 of the Federal Power Act, the City of Hamilton, Ohio and American Municipal Power, Inc. are authorized to continue operation of the project under the terms and conditions of the prior license until a subsequent license is issued or other disposition occurs. That continuation lasts until issuance of a subsequent license or other disposition under the FPA.
