If you are an LSC Basic Field Grant recipient, applications to make 2026 mid-year subgrants are available now. Applications to make 2027 subgrants will be available on or around April 13, 2026, and the deadline to submit 2027 Basic Field Grant funding applications is June 1, 2026; for 2026 mid-year subgrants you must apply at least 45 days before the subgrant's proposed effective date.
Document and Submission Requirements
All applicants must submit answers in GrantEase and upload a draft subgrant agreement and a subgrant budget using LSC's templates. Applicants proposing a new subrecipient that is not a current LSC grantee—or renewing such a subgrant in a year requiring a full funding application—must also upload the subrecipient's accounting manual, most recent audited financial statements, current cost allocation policy (if not in the accounting manual), and the recipient's 45 CFR part 1627 Policy; a final signed subgrant agreement must be uploaded by the date LSC requests.
Eligibility Limited to LSC Grantees
Only current or prospective recipients of LSC Basic Field Grants may apply for approval to subgrant Basic Field Grant funds. If you are not a current or prospective LSC Basic Field Grant recipient, you are not eligible to apply to make these subgrants.
