The ACCSH agenda includes supplementary briefings and continued discussion of rulemakings previously discussed on March 31 and April 1, 2026, covering 1,3-Butadiene; 13 Carcinogens; Asbestos; Benzene; Cadmium; Ethylene Oxide; Formaldehyde; Inorganic Arsenic; Lead; Methylene Chloride; and Methylenedianiline (MDA). Under the Construction Safety Act (40 U.S.C. 3701 et seq.), the Secretary must consult with ACCSH when formulating standards, so these discussions are part of the standards process.

Virtual public ACCSH meeting May 19–20

ACCSH will hold virtual public meetings on May 19 and May 20, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET each day. OSHA is not requiring registration to attend, and written comments must be submitted by May 13, 2026.

Briefing on Tree Care proposed rulemaking

The meeting will include a briefing on a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) regarding Tree Care. ACCSH will discuss the tree care NPRM as part of its agenda and produce committee recommendations to the Secretary.
