Funds May Offer ETF + Mutual Shares
If you own investments, some registered open-end funds have applied for SEC permission to offer one class of exchange-traded shares (ETF Shares) and one or more non-exchange mutual fund share classes under the same fund. Each requested order would let these "Multi-Class ETF Funds" operate an ETF Class consistent with Rule 6c-11 and provide other exemptions listed in the applications, and you can request a hearing by 5:30 p.m. Eastern on May 26, 2026.
