U.S. Persons Barred from Dealing

On May 8 and May 11, 2026, the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) blocked the property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of one or more listed persons. Starting on those dates, U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with those blocked persons and their U.S.-based assets are frozen.

Iran Entity Added to SDN List

On May 8, 2026, OFAC added the CENTER FOR INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION (also listed under many aliases including CPDI, OSIS, TCO) to the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List. The entry lists a Tehran address, an organization established date range of 01 Jan 1983 to 31 Dec 1984, National ID No. 14002821290, and states the entity is designated for activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and is subject to secondary sanctions.
