More Precise Progress Reporting Options

If you apply for or receive Bureau of Health Workforce research or training grants, the Quarterly Progress Update (QPU) dropdown will split the single "Timing is Off Track" option into three choices: (1) "Timing is Off Track: Barrier Resolved/Proceeding," (2) "Activity no longer needed/applicable," and (3) "Barrier Not Resolved." This change is intended to let HRSA program staff better identify project status and whether technical assistance is needed.

Estimated Annual Reporting Time Burden

HRSA estimates the annual time burden for these forms is 1,400 hours total: SWP (Standardized Work Plan) = 1,000 respondents × 1.00 hour = 1,000 hours; QPU (Quarterly Progress Update) = 1,000 respondents × 4 responses × 0.10 hour = 400 hours. That averages 1.4 hours per respondent per year for applicants and award recipients.
