90‑Day Notice Requirement for New Chemical Uses

If you manufacture, import, or process any of the chemical substances covered by these SNURs for a use the rule calls a “significant new use,” you must notify EPA at least 90 days before starting that activity. The rule defines “manufacture” to include import, and you may not begin the new manufacture or processing until EPA reviews the notice, makes a determination, and takes any required actions. These SNURs were issued April 24, 2026.
