EPA Clears March 2026 New-Chemical Submissions

EPA reviewed certain premanufacture notices (PMNs), microbial commercial activity notices (MCANs), and significant new use notices (SNUNs during March 1–31, 2026) and found they are "not likely to present an unreasonable risk". For the listed case numbers (P-25-0085 through P-25-0088; P-25-0089; P-25-0104; P-25-0142), the submitter may commence manufacture or processing for the significant new use notwithstanding any remaining portion of the applicable review period. TSCA still requires that a notice be submitted at least 90 days before commencing manufacture or the significant new use.
