Published Date: 6/1/2026

Notice

Summary

Every five years, the U.S. checks if certain import taxes on products like wind towers and metal lockers from countries such as China, India, and Mexico should continue. These reviews, starting in July 2026, help decide if the taxes stop unfair pricing or subsidies. Businesses involved should watch for updates because these decisions can affect prices and trade rules.

Antidumping Sunset Reviews Start

Commerce will initiate five-year 'sunset' reviews in July 2026 for several antidumping duty orders, including ironing tables, magnesia carbon bricks, metal lockers, utility-scale wind towers, and seamless refined copper pipe and tube from specified countries. The reviews will determine whether revoking the antidumping orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury.

Countervailing Duty Sunset Reviews Start

Commerce will initiate five-year 'sunset' reviews in July 2026 for certain countervailing duty orders, including magnesia carbon bricks and metal lockers from China and utility-scale wind towers from India and Malaysia. These reviews will decide whether ending the countervailing duties would likely lead to recurrence of countervailable subsidies and material injury.
