Upper Potomac one-hour safety zone

On June 13, 2026, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Coast Guard will enforce a safety zone on portions of the Washington Channel in the Upper Potomac River (line no. 3 of Table 2 to 33 CFR 165.506(h)(2)). During that hour, vessels may not enter, remain in, or transit the safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or their representative, and vessels must follow directions from the Patrol Commander or any Official Patrol displaying a Coast Guard ensign.
