Review Could Change Import Duties

The U.S. International Trade Commission is conducting full five-year reviews of the countervailing duty order on forged steel fittings from India and the antidumping duty orders on forged steel fittings from India and South Korea (Investigation Nos. 701-TA-631 and 731-TA-1463-1464). If duties are continued or revoked after the review, businesses that import or use these forged steel fittings could see changes in costs or trade rules.

Decision May Be Delayed Up To 90 Days

The Commission has determined it may extend these five-year reviews by up to 90 days pursuant to 19 U.S.C. 1675(c)(5)(B). That extension can delay a final determination on whether the duties will be continued or revoked.
