Disaster Loans Open to Local Nonprofits

If you run a private nonprofit that provides essential governmental services in the San Carlos Apache Tribe area (Arizona), you may file SBA disaster loan applications after the Presidential declaration on May 29, 2026 for the severe storms and flooding of October 10–13, 2025. Apply online at https://lending.sba.gov or contact the SBA disaster assistance customer service center at 1-800-659-2955.

3.625% Interest Rate for Nonprofit Disaster Loans

The SBA set the interest rate for both Physical Damage and Economic Injury loans to private nonprofit organizations at 3.625% (this applies whether or not credit is available elsewhere). The disaster numbers are 216186 (physical damage) and 216190 (economic injury).

Deadlines to Apply for Disaster Loans

If you intend to apply, physical damage loan applications are due by August 1, 2026, and Economic Injury (EIDL) loan applications are due by March 1, 2027, for this disaster. Use the SBA Loan Portal at https://lending.sba.gov to submit applications before those dates.
