Mandatory Pecan Information Collection

If you are a pecan producer, handler, sheller, or public member in the 16 listed states (Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas), the USDA plans to extend and revise its information collection under Marketing Order No. 986 that requires submission of 14 specific forms (including ballots SC-313, SC-307/308; nomination forms SC-309/310; acceptance/background forms SC-8/SC-9; marketing agreements SC-242/SC-242A; and reporting forms APC-1 through APC-5). The agency estimates an average burden of 0.31 hours per response, 4,503 respondents, 4,538 total annual responses, and 1,404.94 total annual burden hours.
