If you are a Cboe market-maker with a VIX appointment and you execute at least 1,000 VIX contracts in a calendar month, the monthly VIX Tier Appointment fee increases from $2,000 to $2,500 per Market-Maker Floor Permit and per Market-Maker Electronic Access Permit (EAP). The change was filed May 29, 2026 and is effective immediately under the filing.

RUT Tier Fee Raised to $1,500

If you are a Cboe market-maker with a RUT appointment and you execute at least 1,000 RUT contracts in a calendar month, the monthly RUT Tier Appointment fee increases from $1,000 to $1,500 per Market-Maker Floor Permit and per Market-Maker Electronic Access Permit (EAP). The change was filed May 29, 2026 and is effective immediately under the filing.
