NIH Harassment Reporting Requirement for Grantees

If your institution receives NIH grant funds, the Authorized Organization Representative must notify NIH through a secure Harassment Web Form when a PD/PI or other Senior/Key personnel are removed or disciplined for harassment, bullying, retaliation, or hostile working conditions. Notifications must be submitted within 30 days and include the AOR's name, the individual's name, a description of the concerns, actions taken, and any anticipated impact on the NIH-funded award; NIH requests OMB approval for 3 years and estimates an annualized burden of 60 hours across 240 private sector respondents (about 15 minutes per response).
