EPA submitted a renewal (ICR EPA ICR Number 1688.11, OMB Control Number 2050-0149) that would extend the mandatory collection that is currently approved through June 30, 2026.

RCRA Public Notice and Hearing Rights Maintained

The RCRA statute and EPA's public involvement activities require certain public notices (radio, newspaper, and a letter to relevant agencies) and provide a process for the public to dispute permits and request public hearings. EPA carries out much of this public participation at 40 CFR parts 124 and 270.
