No‑Entry Zone for Boats During Airshow
From July 1 through July 6, 2026, boats may not enter the “No Entry Zone” around the airshow launch platform without permission. The No Entry Zone is enforced each day from the show start (9:00 a.m.) until 30 minutes after the show ends (the show runs 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), and includes waters within a 1,000‑foot radius of the launch platform at approximate position 40°53'42.50" N, 073°30'04.30" W. To enter you must obtain authorization from the Captain of the Port Long Island Sound or their designated representative via VHF‑FM channel 16 or the phone number provided in the rule.
Slow/No‑Wake and Traffic Rules in Oyster Bay
During July 1–6, 2026, a Slow/No Wake Area (between Meadowbrook State Parkway and Wantagh State Parkway) and a No Southbound Traffic Area in Zach's Bay will be enforced daily beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until six hours after the airshow concludes (the airshow runs 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so enforcement continues through 9:00 p.m.). These rules require reduced speed/no wake and prohibit southbound transit in the specified zones while enforced.
