New Procurement List Additions Help Nonprofits

Examples include batteries (AA, 1/2AA, sealed lead acid) added as mandatory for the Department of Defense and janitorial and HAZMAT support services for specified federal sites in Guam, Athens GA, and multiple Navy locations in California. This change gives the named nonprofit suppliers more guaranteed work from the listed contracting activities.
Procurement List Deletions Remove Some Supplier Work
Also effective July 26, 2026, the Procurement List deletes several products so they are no longer mandatory buys from the listed nonprofit suppliers. Deleted items include round-ring binders (Corpus Christi, TX), multiple dated 2026 planners and calendars (Chicago, IL), electrical insulation tape (Baltimore, MD), and certain hand sanitizers (Austin, TX). These deletions remove the mandatory procurement preference for the listed nonprofit sources for those items.
No Price or Deadline Changes for Buyers
