Who Can Request Repatriation

Written requests for repatriation may be submitted by any one or more of the Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations listed in the notice, or by any lineal descendant or Indian Tribe/organization not listed that shows by a preponderance of the evidence a cultural affiliation. Requests must be sent to the University of Michigan contact identified in the notice (Dr. Ben Secunda, NAGPRA Office, Suite G269, Lane Hall, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1274).
