Temporary Duty-Free Phosphate Imports

If you are a farmer or fertilizer importer, phosphate fertilizer from the Kingdom of Morocco may be imported into the United States free of the collection of duties and deposits of estimated duties for up to 8 months after June 29, 2026, or until the emergency ends. The proclamation directs the Secretary of the Treasury and the Secretary of Commerce to permit these duty-free imports to help ensure U.S. farmers have timely access to phosphate fertilizer during the planting and growing season.
