Army Automated Installation Entry Continues

The Army will continue collecting identity information through the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) system to verify identity, determine fitness for access, and issue local access credentials; the collection uses an electronic physical access control system (PACS) to authenticate credentials and validate authorization to enter installations. The collection is active for 1,813,240 respondents with 1,813,240 annual responses, totaling 60,441 annual burden hours and an average burden of 2 minutes per response. The Army is accepting comments on the collection and ways to reduce burden through September 8, 2026.
