NIH Antibodies Available for Licensing

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is offering government-owned pan anti-HLA monoclonal antibodies 3C10 and 15B1 for commercial licensing (HHS Ref. E-005-2026-0). A provisional patent application No. 64/053,946 was filed on April 30, 2026, and foreign patent applications have been filed on selected inventions to extend market coverage.

Pre-Clinical Antibodies Show Strong Activity

The pre-clinical antibodies 3C10 and 15B1 bind MHC-I at a different site than earlier antibodies (DX17 and W6/32), bind over 50 times more strongly, and activate human natural killer (NK) and T cells for tumor control. NIAID notes potential uses alone or with other immunotherapies (including CAR-T or CAR-NK) and possible application to chronic infections like TB, HIV, and hepatitis B or C.
