Options Regulatory Fee Set at $0.0170

Starting July 1, 2026, MIAX will charge an Options Regulatory Fee (ORF) of $0.0170 per contract side for applicable options transactions on the exchange. If you trade options on MIAX, this is the per-contract fee that will be applied to those trades.

Who Pays ORF and How It's Billed

MIAX will assess the ORF on options that ultimately clear in the OCC "customer" range and will collect the fee from Members and non-members for customer transactions executed on the Exchange. The Exchange will bill ORF based on the clearing instructions provided on the execution, will take same‑day CMTA adjustments into account, and will not consider CMTA changes at OCC after the trade date; the Exchange expects Clearing Members to pass the ORF through to their customers.
